Accrual

Q) How many KrisFlyer miles can I earn on Scoot-operated flights?

A: For Scoot-operated flights ticketed on and after 26 April 2018, mileage accrual levels may vary depending on the itinerary and the booking class.

You can earn one KrisFlyer mile per Singapore dollar* spent on fares and selected ancillaries (excluding e-visa, travel insurance and Scoot Protect, infant fares and credit card processing fees) for itineraries involving only Scoot operated flights**. Credit card and other processing fees are not eligible for accrual.

*For bookings made in other currencies, accrual rate will be subject to currency fluctuations at the prevailing system exchange rate.
**This rate is subject to change without notice. The latest rate will be published on singaporeair.com and Flyscoot.com.


If you are travelling on a mixed itinerary containing both a Scoot and partner sector (e.g. Scoot-Singapore Airlines/SilkAir), you earn miles based on a percentage of the actual miles flown on Scoot and booking class:

Q) How many KrisFlyer Elite miles can I earn on Scoot-operated flights?

A: From 1 January 2021, you will earn 1 Elite mile for each KrisFlyer mile earn on a Scoot flight or mixed itinerary.

Q) I forgot to login when making my Scoot booking, and I have already flown. Can I still earn miles?

A: You may submit a retroactive mileage claim after your flight here, within 6 months of your flight date.

Q) I forgot to login when making my Scoot booking, and I have now flown yet. Can I still earn miles?

A: Yes, you can still key in your KrisFlyer number before your flight when you manage your booking.

Q) Can I earn PPS Value and Elite Miles for Scoot operated flights?

A: PPS value will not be awarded for Scoot operated flights. The 25% tier bonus for KrisFlyer Elite and PPS club members is not applicable to Scoot operated flights.

As for Elite miles, from 1 January 2021, you can earn them to track towards the next KrisFlyer membership tier such as Elite Silver and Elite Gold status. Find out more here.

Q) Will Elite miles earned on Scoot be used in tracking for any rewards from KrisFlyer?

Q) The miles for my Scoot flights are still not reflected in my KrisFlyer account. Who can I contact?

A: Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for the miles earned on Scoot operated flights to be reflected in your KrisFlyer account.
If the miles are not reflected after 4 weeks, you can submit a Retro mileage claim for the missing miles here.

Q) Who can I contact for enquiries on my Scoot flight/ticket?

A: Please contact Scoot's Hotline for Scoot flight/ticket-related queries.

Q) What are the types of booking eligible for retroactive mile claims?

A: Eligible: Bookings made through www.flyscoot.com, Scoot mobile app, Scoot Facebook Chatbot and through travel agents on SkyAgent and GDSes.
Not eligible: Bookings made through 3rd party platforms via API.

Q) The booking is made by my friend. Can he or she help to add in my KrisFlyer membership number in the booking?

A: Yes, your friend need to login to add in your KrisFlyer membership number. Once done, the booking details will appear in your account and you can make any subsequent changes to the booking. However, please note that if there is any changes made to the booking, it will reflect the same for your friend.

Q) I can’t seem to be able to add in my friend’s KrisFlyer membership number under the booking.

A: This is because your booking is made under SkyAgent or Group bookings. In that case, please contact your travel agent to assist you in this request.

 

Redemption

Q) Can I use KrisFlyer miles to pay for all flights and ancillaries on Flyscoot.com?

A: Subject to the Fare Rules of a Fare Product, you can use KrisFlyer miles to pay for your booking on Flyscoot.com. KrisFlyer miles can be used on fares, taxes and selected ancillaries (excluding e-visa, travel insurance, Scoot Protect, infant fares and card processing fees) on Scoot-operated itineraries for you and your redemption group nominees.

Q) If I mix miles and cash, will I earn KrisFlyer miles on the cash portion of my purchases on Flyscoot.com?

A: Mixing miles and cash for purchases on Flyscoot.com will still earn KrisFlyer miles on the portion of the applicable transactions paid with a credit / debit card. Every S$1 payable with a credit / debit card earns 1 KrisFlyer miles for itineraries consisting of only Scoot operated fights*.

Q) Can I redeem for Scoot flights by calling Scoot's Hotline or Singapore Airlines Offices?

A: You may only use KrisFlyer miles to redeem for Scoot flights on FlyScoot.com. This service is not available via Scoot's Hotline, KrisFlyer Membership Services or Singapore Airlines Reservations and Ticketing offices.

Q) Can I cancel my Scoot ticket that was paid with KrisFlyer miles?

A: Please note that tickets booked on Flyscoot.com are strictly non-refundable. Please refer to the fare conditions when making your booking on FlyScoot.com. You may also refer to the terms and conditions for redemption on FlyScoot.com here.

 

PPS Club Benefits

Q) I did not append my KrisFlyer membership number when creating a booking on Scoot. Will I enjoy PPS benefits in my booking?

A: Yes, you will enjoy these benefits if you have added your KrisFlyer membership number at least 24 hours before your flight. You may do so here.

The benefits will be automatically added to your booking within 24 hours of appending your KrisFlyer membership number. You will receive an email notification once these benefits have been added to your booking.

Q) I created my booking for a flight departing in less than 24 hours. Will I enjoy PPS benefits?

A: No, your booking must be created at least 24 hours before flight departure for you to enjoy these benefits.

Q) When will I be able to enjoy PPS benefits on Scoot?

A: From 1 February 2021, if you are a PPS Club member, you will enjoy PPS benefits.

To enjoy these benefits, you must add your KrisFlyer membership number at least 24 hours before your flight. You may do so here.

Q) I was not a PPS when I created my booking on Scoot. Subsequently, my tier was upgraded to PPS. Will I enjoy PPS benefits?

A: If you are upgraded to PPS at least 24 hours before your flight, you will enjoy these benefits. The benefits will be automatically accorded within 24 hours from when you upgrade to PPS even if you do not manage your booking.

No refund will be given for previously paid ancillaries that overlap with the PPS benefits offered.

Q) I was a PPS when I created my booking on Scoot. Subsequently, my tier was downgraded and I am no longer a PPS. I made a change to my booking, will I still enjoy PPS benefits?

A: Yes, benefits that have been accorded will not be removed. However, as you are no longer a PPS, PPS benefits will not be accorded to any new bookings you create.

Q) I was a PPS when I created my booking on Scoot. Subsequently, my tier was downgraded and I am no longer a PPS. I did not make any changes to my booking, will I still enjoy PPS benefits?

A: Yes, benefits that have been accorded will not be removed. However, as you are no longer a PPS, PPS benefits will not be accorded to any new bookings you create.

Q) I purchased add-ons before PPS benefits were automatically added to my booking. Will I be refunded for add-ons that overlap with the PPS benefits offered?

A: No, you will not be refunded for these add-ons.

Q) Do I get to enjoy the benefits on Scoot if I made my booking via Singapore Airlines (ticket number starts with 618)?

A: If your booking is made at least 24 hours before departure via Singapore Airlines, you will enjoy the benefits of complimentary baggage, BoardMeFirst and Standard seat selection.

Baggage - Complimentary 5kg baggage will be added on top of the baggage allowance of the ticket fare family you bought. Exact amount will be reflected in Flyscoot.com > Manage within 14 days of departure.

Booking flexibility - As the complimentary one-time flight date/time change only applies for bookings made on Scoot, please contact Singapore Airlines for any flight changes. Singapore Airlines fare rules apply.
