Product Offering for Interline Journeys with Scoot and Singapore Airlines

Products offered to passengers travelling on interline and c0de-share journeys with Scoot and Singapore Airlines.

Baggage allowance 

Codeshare Flights (SQ-Marketed Flights, TR-Operated Flight Numbers)

          • For SQ pax ticketed on SQ marketing flight numbers, SQ's generic FBA applies.

• Non-Codeshare Flights (TR Flight Numbers)

          • For a SQ pax, FBA for SQ-TR itinerary follows normal interline principle under IATA resolution 302, using the Most Significant Carrier (MSC) rules.

• Mixed-cabin Class

          • For mixed-cabin itineraries, FBA will follow that of the corresponding SQ Cabin Class FBA regardless of MSC rules.

• GIT on Non-Codeshare Flights (TR Flight Numbers)

          • Group FBA will be set at 25kg regardless of MSC carrier.
        

Note:

1. Passengers can either pay for excess baggage by calling TR’s Contact Centre or at the check-in counter. Alternatively, only FIT passengers can upsize their originally accorded baggage in advance by either going into ‘ManageMyBooking’ in Scoot’s website.

2. There will not be premium passenger recognition for travel on TR flights. Priority baggage handling will only be provided to eligible passenger at SQ board point and flight only. 

3. Free baggage allowance for infant will not be granted by TR. Passengers should be aware and check the difference in INF FBA and excess baggage charges between TR and SQ flights.

 

Meals 

• Meals are included for interline and codeshare bookings. 
Vegetarian Meals

          • Agents and stations can request through GDS or ARD to request for vegetarian meals.

• In order to ensure meals are uplifted:

• Enter meal requests at least 6 days before departure
• Latest date to insert a meal request is 3 days before departure.
• If it is less than 3 days before departure, please contact TR call centre for assistance.’

 

 

Note:

1. Passengers can select meals by calling TR’s Contact Centre, accessing their booking in SQ website or going into ‘ManageMyBooking’ in Scoot’s website. For GIT bookings, meals can only be selected through TR’s Contact Centre and GDS or ARD.

2. TR has discontinued premium meal selection

3. Pax are normally not allowed to bring outside food/drinks on board.  However, pax with special dietary requirements may bring their own food, with proof of their dietary requirements

 

Seats

• Seats are included for interline and codeshare bookings. 

• Passengers can upgrade their seats to ScootPlus on TR B787.

Note:

1. Passengers can select seats by calling TR’s Contact Centre or they may try accessing their booking in SQ website or going into ‘ManageMyBooking’ in Scoot’s website. 

2. Upgrading seat to ScootPlus on TR B787 is only available at check-in counter or onboard

3. SQ agents and offices can only purchase Scoot-in-silence or extra legroom seats in Economy through the call centre.

4. For selected ODs where SQ is the MSC and the associated TR segment has a ScootPlus product. Passengers may purchase a mixed-cabin itinerary that comprises of a premium SQ cabin and a ScootPlus cabin.

5. Passengers who are through checked can only purchase upgrades onboard. 

6. Scoot does not offer bassinets on board our flights. 

7. Passengers who would like to purchase an additional seat are required to call TR Contact Centre directly.

• TR booking reference number (six alphanumeric record locator)
• Passenger first name 
• Passenger last name
