Name Handling Process for GDS

Please kindly note on the latest Name Handling Process for GDS bookings.
1. Bookings with middle name (spacing in between first name or more than one given name)
- Refrain from making changes to the bookings 48hrs prior to departure.
- If changes are made to the booking 48hours prior to departure, ticket reissuance with date/ name change fee and fare difference (if any) will be required for ALL open coupons.
- No change in handling for bookings with last name and first name, where first name does not have spacing.
- Failure to comply with the above stated guidelines will result in inconveniences to passenger(s) during check-in.
2. Passenger(s) title
- Compulsory to input passenger title in all GDS bookings.
- Format on passenger’s title as follow:
- Adult: MR / MRS / MS
- Child & Infant: MSTR / MISS
- If passenger is between 2 to 11 years old, SSR CHLD must be added in order for GDS to qualify passenger as a child.
- Failure to comply with the above stated guidelines will result in unsynchronised bookings.
